Industrial Water Softening Plants to remove hardness and protect boilers, RO membranes & equipment. Manufacturing, installation & AMC across India. Zero hardness, low salt cost, duplex options for 24x7 plants.
Hard water β water carrying dissolved calcium and magnesium β is one of the most common and costly water problems in Indian industry. Left untreated, it forms scale inside boilers, cooling towers, pipework and heat exchangers.
Removes hardness using ion-exchange resin before water reaches boiler, cooling system, or RO plant.
Sodium-cycle ion-exchange resin swaps calcium and magnesium for sodium ions, producing effectively zero hardness. Regenerated using brine (salt) β low-cost vs DM plants.

Salt brine tank with visible salt at base, connected piping to softener vessel.
Smaller or intermittent applications. Operator starts regeneration manually. Lowest capex.
Timer-based regeneration. Set time, system auto regenerates.
Volume or hardness-breakthrough based auto regeneration. Duplex for 24x7.
Q: What is the difference between a water softener and a DM plant?A: A water softener removes hardness by exchanging them for sodium ions, but does not reduce overall dissolved solids, while a DM plant removes nearly all dissolved ions.
Q: Why should a water softener be installed before an RO plant?A: Hardness accelerates scale on RO membranes, reducing life and output; softening extends membrane life and reduces cleaning.
Q: How is a water softener regenerated?A: Using a brine (salt) solution that flushes calcium and magnesium off the resin and restores sodium capacity.
Q: What size softener does my facility need?A: Depends on raw water hardness, daily consumption & regen frequency; Ions India calculates from water test report.
Q: Can a water softener run continuously without interruption?A: Yes, duplex twin-vessel allows one vessel to supply while other regenerates.
While our manufacturing base is in Faridabad, our project and service teams work across India β Delhi NCR, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala, West Bengal, Odisha and Northeast.
